About Chris Johnson, CEO, iTrellis

Chris Johnson is a co-founder of iTrellis, a technology consultancy focused on Solutions Delivery: Program Management, mobile/desktop/SAAS applications, Systems Integration, Business Intelligence, and Management Consulting: SAFe Business/IT alignment, Quality Assurance, and Performance Management. Chris has 25 years of experience in the software industry, having spent 10 years with Accenture and five years with BearingPoint as a technology consultant leading projects, and the past 10 years building two companies that deliver technology solutions in the Pacific Northwest. Chris served as Managing Partner at BearingPoint in 2001, and was responsible for the West Coast Technology Integration Practice for telecommunications companies. In 2010, Chris co-founded Dynacron Group and served as it’s CEO as it grew from bootstraps into a multi-million dollar consulting business (now Dev9), and in 2013 Chris founded iTrellis where he serves as CEO.

Chris is a firm believer in implementing the right mix of People, Process, and Technology during all phases of a company’s maturity. To move a product from ‘ideation to revenue,’ he promotes the value of structure, process, and discipline to build highly reliable and scalable applications quickly and with quality. Chris is a notable advocate of Continuous Integration, Iterative Deployment, and Performance Management practices to deliver efficient, cost-effective solutions while also providing transparency and visibility with his clients throughout all stages of the development lifecycle.

As a former developer, project manager, and senior executive responsible for technology solution development and integration initiatives, Chris is able to quickly understand, architect, and facilitate technology programs to a successful result in partnership with his clients. His specialties include creating cost-effective solutions based on rapid ROI, strategically aligning services/resources to meet client business goals, and negotiating “win-win” prime and subcontractor arrangements and agreements. Chris’ experience spans multiple industry verticals, including Financial Services, Telecommunications, Government, Education, High Tech, Retail, Health Care, Logistics, and Manufacturing.
